Short playoffs are still short

The impossible just happened.

The LA Kings just lost a game.

New Jersey Devils damn, you're all looking sexy tonight.

I'm pretty sure this is just a glitch. The Kings will probably win the next game and the Stanley Cup.

Although a small part of me hopes that New Jersey can pull it through and give those Californians the ultimate upset of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Seriously though, this has been the most boring playoff run in memorable history. I YAWN.

Playoffs should never be this easy. When they are won this easily, it's not hockey worth watching. There needs to be more blood, sweat, tears and emotions running so high that you would destroy a city to ease the pain.

~AHEM VANCOUVER AHEM~

Whatevs. It was a good game anyway because of these two in the audience:

Yep, that's actress Ellen Page (of Juno) and actor Alexander Skarsgård (of True Blood). Neither of them are American (she's Canadian, he's Swedish), so I'm not really sure if they were rooting for LA or Jersey. By the looks of it, they seem like a couple of people who were just hoping to see some serious hockey drama. Which you would have gotten regardless of whether it was LA or Jersey that won. Nothing better than seeing a Canadian and a Swede bond over hockey though. I swear, the Swedes are our long-lost brothers and sisters. I mean, let's face it, they're basically us only blonder.

Good luck next time, LA. Win the Stanley Cup so that us Canucks can maintain our pride over losing to you.
